Early Friday morning, President Donald Trump announced in a tweet that he and First Woman Melania Trump have evaluated positive for COVID-19.
” Some things we consider are the individuals that are sick, how much infection do they really have, what is their immune system like a few of those elements play into the most likely hood of spreading COVID-19,” Banach stated. “In regards to the time frame and window, we usually look at the 48 hours prior to the onset of signs or for people who do not in fact have signs prior to the test result as that window duration.”
This comes hours after it was revealed the presidents top aide Hope Hicks evaluated favorable for COVID-19.
“Typically when we take a look at age above 60 and anything beyond that, the threat of serious illness increases pretty considerably,” Banach stated.
